Sheri's Story
Sheri Karan’s story is one of resilience, creativity, and reinvention. Over the years she has built businesses from the ground up. Each chapter of her journey carried a common thread: the ability to see potential where others might only see obstacles, and to create something meaningful out of what was at hand.
That gift was tested in its hardest form when Sheri lost her husband, Troy. Grief could have broken her but instead, it led her into the woods. There, under the trees, she discovered a journaling practice that helped her survive and eventually heal. She called it Tree Talking and it was listening, reflecting, and writing her way through pain toward growth.
Journaling had been with Sheri all along, through every venture and every pivot, but in those years it became more than a record. It became a lifeline, a way of holding onto herself when everything else felt uncertain. Page by page, entry by entry, she began to rebuild her story.
Today, Sheri has gathered that journey into her book and into Tree Talking, a movement that blends nature, journaling, and story as tools for resilience. Her mission is simple but powerful: to offer others the same grounding practices that carried her so that they, too, can bend without breaking, and find renewal in their own lives.
